About the Role:
CareTech Community Services, a national provider of support for individuals with complex needs, seeks a dedicated Care Support Manager to lead and motivate a team delivering high-quality care in Staffordshire. This role is crucial in ensuring residents receive the best possible support within their own homes or in residential care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of care staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and best practices.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Monitor resident well-being and address any concerns promptly.
- Coordinate care services with other support agencies as needed.
- Document and report on resident progress and care provision accurately.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in care management and leadership.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations (e.g., safeguarding).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Empathy and compassion for individuals with diverse needs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Understanding of autism, learning disabilities, mental health illnesses, and neurological conditions.
