About the Role:
Candlelight Care seeks caring individuals to support vulnerable adults in their own homes within Wimborne and surrounding areas. This role offers full and part-time opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and practical support to clients.
- Assist with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing).
- Manage domestic household tasks and food preparation, tailored to each client’s needs.
- Assist with medication and personal equipment.
- Report significant changes in client health or circumstances to the Registered Manager.
Skills and Expertise:
- Empathy and understanding of clients’ needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Patience and composure in stressful situations.
- Experience in care and support (desirable).
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures (desirable).
