About the Role:
CareTech seeks a dedicated Care Team Leader to inspire and motivate a supported living team, ensuring high-quality care and individualised support for adults with complex needs. This key role focuses on empowering service users to live independently and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily care delivery, ensuring service user needs are met.
- Manage the service in the absence of a manager.
- Ensure the care, welfare, and safety of service users and staff safety.
- Coordinate service delivery and participate in reviews, reassessing support plans.
- Conduct regular staff supervisions.
- Act as a skills coach for staff and lead team meetings.
- Participate in staff recruitment, adhering to equal opportunities principles.
Skills and Expertise:
- 12+ months experience in a care environment.
- Health & Social Care Level 3 Qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Confidence to work independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for making a positive impact on others’ lives.
- Strong written communication skills.
