About the Role:

Lead and supervise care teams to provide high-quality resident care in Tyne and Wear. Manage care plans and liaise with families and healthcare professionals to ensure resident needs are met. Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise care team members.
  • Case manage residents, liaising with families and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement care plans for residents.
  • Administer and record medication according to protocols.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
  • Support residents with daily needs, promoting independence.
  • Collaborate with leadership team to develop care services.
  • Maintain a professional and inclusive work environment.

Skills and Expertise:

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care (desirable).
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Strong understanding of care planning processes.
  • Experience with medication administration (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • IT literacy and organizational skills.
