About the Role:
This influential Cash Strategy Manager role offers a valuable contribution to the business, leading bank-wide cash strategy development with retail, commercial, and payments teams. You’ll gain exposure to executive and senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the function’s strategy and product backlog, creating customer value.
- Identify opportunities for strategy improvement aligned with market trends and customer needs.
- Assist with developing business plans and providing strategic challenge.
- Lead effective interactions with teams, functions, and stakeholders.
- Analyse business performance, competitor activity, opportunities, and customer behaviour.
- Present insights and solutions to senior management.
- Lead and deliver major assignments with defined scope and objectives.
- Provide high-quality briefings and external perspectives.
- Prepare analysis and reports for executive and board audiences.
- Drive strategic thinking across the function.
Skills and Expertise:
- In-depth experience of banking strategy and decision support.
- Experience in business planning, strategic recommendations, and driving strategic change.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking skills with clear communication of complex problems.
- Strong track record of effective strategy development and delivery.
