About the Role:

This influential Cash Strategy Manager role offers a valuable contribution to the business, leading bank-wide cash strategy development with retail, commercial, and payments teams. You’ll gain exposure to executive and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the function’s strategy and product backlog, creating customer value.
  • Identify opportunities for strategy improvement aligned with market trends and customer needs.
  • Assist with developing business plans and providing strategic challenge.
  • Lead effective interactions with teams, functions, and stakeholders.
  • Analyse business performance, competitor activity, opportunities, and customer behaviour.
  • Present insights and solutions to senior management.
  • Lead and deliver major assignments with defined scope and objectives.
  • Provide high-quality briefings and external perspectives.
  • Prepare analysis and reports for executive and board audiences.
  • Drive strategic thinking across the function.

Skills and Expertise:

  • In-depth experience of banking strategy and decision support.
  • Experience in business planning, strategic recommendations, and driving strategic change.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking skills with clear communication of complex problems.
  • Strong track record of effective strategy development and delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working across large, diverse organizations.
  • Good research skills and ability to generate insights.
  • Experience with data, data modelling, financial analysis, or commercial business case development.
  • Focus on the customer in strategic development.
