About the Role:
Provide CBT assessment, formulation, and treatment for individuals with moderate to severe mental health problems. This role involves both individual and group therapy sessions, and working within a stepped-care model to support service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct CBT assessments and formulate treatment plans for clients.
- Deliver CBT therapy sessions (individual and group).
- Manage a clinical caseload, adhering to Trust policies and IAPT guidelines.
- Offer clinical consultation and supervision to other mental health professionals.
- Participate in service development initiatives.
- Meet national service targets, monitored by Stockport CCG and Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership.
- Attend monthly clinical supervision sessions for professional development and safe practice.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a CBT therapist.
- Strong knowledge of the IAPT model.
- Excellent assessment and formulation skills.
- Experience working with younger people (desirable).
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using a range of CBT interventions.
