About the Role:
Aramark UK is seeking a highly motivated Chef de Partie to join our team at RAF Leeming, Junior Ranks Mess in North Yorkshire. This role involves managing food preparation and production to maintain high standards of quality and minimize waste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage preparation and production of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
- Ensure minimal food wastage while maintaining high taste and quality.
- Maintain high food hygiene standards.
- Manage stock levels and stock rotations effectively.
- Assist with deliveries and stock checks, placing orders and maintaining kitchen records.
- Monitor and record temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries.
- Complete daily paperwork for due diligence.
- Assist in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.
- Share responsibility with the Chef manager/Catering manager for checking, probing, and signing all food deliveries.
Skills and Expertise:
- Food hygiene certificate (Level 2) or willingness to obtain one.
- Culinary qualifications (desirable).
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment.
- Proficient spoken English.
- Security clearance and DBS check.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Full-time position (12.00/hour).
- 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday with 1 in 4 weekends).
- Shifts between 07:00 and 20:30.
