About the Role:
Join Haven’s dynamic kitchen team as a talented Chef, preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to meet our guests’ expectations. This role is perfect for someone passionate about food with a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu.
- Ensure all food is cooked and presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house team.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Chef (Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, or Commis Chef experience a plus).
- Comprehensive understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Effective communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for food and cooking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
