About the Role:
HC-One is seeking a highly motivated Chef with an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, and HACCP knowledge to join our team in Leicestershire. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals following recipes and service requirements.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
- Plan and manage kitchen operations efficiently.
- Meet service times and prioritize tasks.
- Ensure high standards of quality and home-style cooking.
- Communicate respectfully with Residents and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns.
- Participate in required safeguarding training.
Skills and Expertise:
- S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- HACCP knowledge.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Passionate about food and home cooking.
- Safeguarding awareness and reporting skills.
