About the Role:
Service Care Solutions seeks a dedicated Children’s Services Team Leader in Buckinghamshire to lead and plan engaging activities for children, addressing their individual needs and interests. This role is responsible for creating a positive and enriching experience while developing essential life skills for young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team in meeting the social, emotional, and personal care needs of children and young people.
- Plan and execute diverse activities such as arts and crafts, sensory play, cooking, team games, outdoor play, and enhance life skills.
- Record outcomes for children and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and young people to foster continuous improvement and optimal outcomes.
- Engage and interact with children in local community activities (climbing, water sports, go-karting, visits to farms and parks).
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children under supervision, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Skills and Expertise:
- NVQ 3 Child Care Qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own Vehicle
- Experience in a similar role
- Enhanced DBS Check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Competitive pay (13.24 PAYE / 16.20 Umbrella)
- 37 hours per week (Tuesday-Saturday), with specific hours detailed
