About the Role:
We are seeking a Temporary Children’s Services Team Leader to lead and support a team in Buckinghamshire, focusing on fostering children’s development and well-being. The role will involve managing a team and ensuring adherence to child safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team supporting children and young people.
- Meet the social, emotional, health, and personal care needs of service users.
- Record outcomes for children and support colleagues.
- Ensure the safety, care, and engagement of children.
- Instill a culture of continuous improvement through dialogue with young people, parents, and colleagues.
- Support each child to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Skills and Expertise:
- Relevant Level 3 Early Years childcare qualification or a relevant qualification in youth work, children’s services or education.
- Experience in working with children.
- Knowledge of disabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with foster carers, children, and young people.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience in an office/administration environment.
