About the Role:
This temporary Clerical Officer position within North Ayrshire Council’s busy Community Care live monitoring team requires a highly organized and customer-focused individual to monitor and report on live scheduling systems. The role will involve providing excellent customer service, managing various data systems, producing correspondence and reports, and supporting multi-disciplinary meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and reporting live scheduling systems.
- Providing high-quality customer service to internal and external colleagues.
- Entering, retrieving, and maintaining data from computerised and manual systems.
- Maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity in handling data.
- Producing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Organizing and supporting multi-disciplinary meetings and events.
- Taking and transcribing complex minutes.
- Ordering supplies and managing stock control.
- Processing invoices and handling cash in accordance with council procedures.
- Undertaking mail duties.
- Ensuring compliance with Records and Information Management policies.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computerised and manual data systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Experience in providing customer support is desirable.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
