About the Role:
Holt Engineering are seeking a highly skilled CNC Turner Programmer to join their client in Finchampstead, Berkshire. This role focuses on precision machining for the Formula 1 industry, requiring expert knowledge of Mazak/Mazatrol controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming and setting CNC lathes using Mazak/Mazatrol controls.
- Interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Creating efficient machining programs to optimise production time.
- Ensuring high-quality components are produced to tight tolerances.
- Troubleshooting and resolving machine issues.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to develop new products and processes.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in CNC turning, with a strong focus on Mazak/Mazatrol controls.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Comfortable working both individually and in a team environment.
