About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our high-quality restaurant in Derbyshire. This role offers a fantastic career path in an award-winning establishment with beautiful views.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in creating exquisite dishes using local produce.
- Work directly under the Chef de Partie, maintaining high standards of product and service.
- Assist the team in their section, ensuring the highest standards are met.
- Develop culinary skills and knowledge with senior team members.
Skills and Expertise:
- NVQ Level 1 and 2 or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certifications
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Flexible attitude
- Restaurant or Hotel Background
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for the food industry and an eye for detail
- Good knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
- Experience with fresh produce
