About the Role:
A highly motivated and passionate Commis Chef is needed to join a high-quality restaurant in Norfolk. This role provides an excellent opportunity to further your career within an award-winning establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in creating high-quality dishes using locally sourced ingredients.
- Work directly under the Chef de Partie, assisting the team in maintaining high standards.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop culinary skills and knowledge.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Skills and Expertise:
- NVQ Level 1 and 2 or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certifications
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Restaurant or Hotel Background
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for the hospitality industry
- Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
- Experience with fresh produce
