About the Role:
A passionate and enthusiastic Commis Chef is sought for a prestigious restaurant in Surrey. This role is a fantastic opportunity to develop a career in a high-quality establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in creating exquisite dishes using local produce.
- Work directly under the Chef de Partie and assist the team.
- Maintain high standards of product quality and work ethic.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop culinary skills and knowledge.
Skills and Expertise:
- NVQ Level 1 & 2 or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certifications
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Flexible attitude
- Restaurant or Hotel Background
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for the culinary industry
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
- Experience with fresh produce (preferred)
