About the Role:

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a passionate and experienced Community Inclusion Delivery Manager to lead a dedicated team in Liverpool. This role focuses on enhancing the inclusion and well-being of under-represented communities, fostering a sense of belonging and acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Community Inclusion Team.
  • Oversee service delivery, ensuring KPIs are met and reported.
  • Guarantee service governance and adherence to quality standards.
  • Drive continuous service development.
  • Deputize for the Community Access Service Lead.
  • Ensure robust governance for improving healthcare and service access.
  • Implement policies and procedures for safe service delivery.
  • Prepare and present quarterly performance reports.
  • Guide the team in delivering effective inclusion interventions.
  • Collaborate with Liverpool City Council and Public Health for proactive interventions.
  • Promote the service and identify new working methods at regional network meetings.
  • Develop and implement robust outcome measures.
  • Regularly review service delivery and staff practice for quality improvements.
  • Monitor data collection and report on performance against KPIs.
  • Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop innovative programmes for under-represented communities.
  • Provide performance reports to the Senior Leadership Team and Commissioners.
  • Coordinate and support system-wide partner working.
  • Develop accessible referral pathways.
  • Manage full human resource activities for the team.
  • Monitor incidents and safeguarding issues.
  • Manage authorized expenses (travel up to 500, service up to 1000).

Skills and Expertise:

  • Strong leadership and management experience.
  • Proven ability to oversee complex service delivery.
  • Experience in community engagement and health promotion.
  • Understanding of health inequalities and under-represented communities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Experience with performance management systems.
