About the Role:
Supervise offender work groups fulfilling community sentences. Drive impactful change and rehabilitation within the Bedford community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Pre-Placement Unpaid Work Induction sessions.
- Conduct daily ‘toolbox’ talks to motivate and support service users.
- Follow work directions and project placement files.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed and documentation is accurate.
- Conduct dynamic risk assessments and manage hazards.
- Use pro-social techniques for disciplined and well-behaved work.
- Monitor attendance and promote successful completions.
- Maintain accurate service user records in the case management system.
- Work towards accreditation as a workplace assessor or training deliverer.
- Contribute towards promoting Community Payback with colleagues, external agencies, Sentencers and the public.
Skills and Expertise:
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and support individuals.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
- Proficient in record keeping and case management systems.
- Experience in supervising work groups preferred.
