About the Role:

Our team is seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Staff Nurse to provide specialized wound care and lymphedema management. This role plays a critical role in the care of patients in their homes, focusing on wound healing and preventing complications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat wounds and lymphedema, adhering to best practice guidelines.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans for patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including GPs, specialists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care and lymphedema management.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Registered Nurse with current UK Nursing Registration.
  • Proven experience in wound care and/or lymphedema management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
