About the Role:
This Consultant Haematologist role at Warwick Hospital, with on-call duties at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, involves active participation in clinical services, management, and developments. The position focuses on high-standard patient care and contributes to the department’s research and service development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in clinical and service activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Assume appropriate management responsibilities and lead developments.
- Work flexibly and cross-cover for colleagues.
- Actively participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training, and MRCP teaching.
- Participate in weekly medical staff rounds and contribute on a rota basis.
- Contribute to the management and development of clinical services.
- Contribute to departmental research and development.
- Provide consultant colleague cover as needed and in accordance with Trust arrangements.
- Adhere to Trust policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for personal health and safety, complying with all safe working arrangements.
- Report and manage hazards for staff and patients.
- Ensure adequate arrangements for contacting you when necessary.
