About the Role:
This key role involves managing and recovering outstanding debts for the company. The Credit Controller plays a crucial part in ensuring timely payment and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track outstanding invoices.
- Send timely reminders and follow-up on overdue payments.
- Manage credit control procedures and processes.
- Identify and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all debt transactions.
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve payment issues.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong understanding of credit control principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
- Experience in using accounting software is desirable.
- Proven ability to negotiate and resolve disputes.
