About the Role:
Scotmid Co-operative is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Assistant to provide excellent service to customers in our Edinburgh stores. This role is crucial for maintaining positive customer experiences and contributing to the success of the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
- Ensure product availability and maintain excellent hygiene standards.
- Prepare and serve various food products, including those with allergens.
- Manage stock merchandising and cleaning tasks.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a retail or sales environment (preferred).
- Knowledge of food safety practices (preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry items.
