About the Role:
Post Office is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Consultant to provide exceptional service and support to customers in a busy environment. This role is critical to our strategic growth in providing essential services, encompassing banking and travel products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service, addressing diverse needs and inquiries.
- Selling a range of products and services including postage, travel products, and banking services.
- Advising customers on available financial and travel products, meeting their needs.
- Handling transactions efficiently, accurately processing payments and resolving issues.
- Maintaining accurate records, balancing cash, and managing stock.
- Working within a team to achieve sales targets, providing support and collaboration.
- Working within a high-volume environment, effectively managing a high volume of customer interactions while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Adapting to new products and services as required, demonstrating flexibility and eagerness to learn.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong conversational selling and customer relationship building skills.
- Experience in handling financial transactions, including cash handling.
- Ability to work accurately and quickly in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of travel products and services (an advantage).
- Knowledge of financial products (an advantage).
- Experience selling and/or financial services (an advantage).
- Excellent time-management and organization skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Numeracy and literacy skills.
