About the Role:
Join a people and technology-driven business as a Customer Service Representative in Bristol, handling inbound calls related to life assurance, savings, investments, and pensions. Ensure a positive and seamless customer experience, supporting customers through various life stages and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound customer calls regarding life assurance, savings, investments, and pension plans.
- Assist customers with planning for retirement, accessing investments, updating personal information, and supporting families during bereavements.
- Provide exceptional customer service, remaining calm and professional under pressure.
- Simplify complex financial matters for customers.
- Manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to listen actively and empathize with customers.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Experience in a customer service role (contact centre, retail, hospitality, or travel preferred, but not essential).
- Ability to use multiple IT applications efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
