About the Role:
Join a people- and technology-driven business as an Inbound Customer Service Representative in Peterborough, handling customer inquiries related to life assurance, savings, investments, and pension plans. Your proactive and empathetic approach will ensure a positive customer experience and contribute to exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound customer calls regarding life assurance, savings, investments, or pension plans.
- Assist customers with retirement planning, investment access, and updating personal information.
- Provide support to families during bereavement periods.
- Ensure a seamless customer journey through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Accurately document customer interactions and transactions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service focus with empathy and respect.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult conversations.
- Proficient in simplifying complex matters and providing exceptional service.
- Problem-solving and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- Ability to switch between multiple IT applications with attention to detail.
- (Previous experience in a contact centre, retail, hospitality, or travel sector is a plus but not required).
