About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Data Analyst Assistant to join our Cancer Data Team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will assist in the data quality improvement process, supporting the Advanced Data/Information Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in data quality improvement for Cancer Directorate patient activity data.
- Support the Advanced Data/Information Analyst in developing governance structures for data collection.
- Support in developing information reporting tools and analyzing data.
- Identify unusual or missing demographic data and liaise with users to resolve issues.
- Monitor patient demographic details and ensure a single unique patient instance in the NHSCR.
- Investigate and resolve duplicate patient records.
- Work within established procedures and precedents, often independently, with support available.
Skills and Expertise:
- Data analysis skills.
- Data quality improvement experience.
- Proficiency in using multiple source systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
