About the Role:
Ensure the smooth operation of our data center by managing a skilled team, maintaining critical systems, and upholding safety and performance standards. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to guarantee uptime and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily data center operations, ensuring uptime and efficiency.
- Lead and manage a team of technicians and engineers, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical systems (HVAC, electrical, backup power).
- Oversee planned maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet client and business requirements.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards, including emergency preparedness.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation (SOPs, reports).
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in data center or critical facilities management.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, UPS systems, electrical infrastructure, and fire suppression systems.
- Leadership experience with team management and motivation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, CDCTP, or equivalent) are desirable.
