About the Role:

Liverpool Hope University seeks a dedicated Information, Advice, and Guidance Coordinator to support the expansion of its Degree Apprenticeships program. This role is crucial for providing expert guidance to potential and current apprentices and employers, ensuring a positive and successful apprenticeship journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) to apprentices and employers.
  • Maintain accurate records and conduct necessary audits.
  • Support apprentices and employers throughout their apprenticeship, offering impartial guidance at each stage.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Apprenticeships, Business Development Manager, and other relevant teams.
  • Ensure all stakeholders understand IAG requirements for apprenticeship provision.
  • Lead initiatives like Matrix accreditation.
  • Provide learners and employers with specific information about the Digital Apprenticeship Service, program structure, assessment, and employer commitments.
  • Provide career advice and facilitate the matching of apprentices with suitable job vacancies.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to drive continuous improvement in apprenticeship programs.
  • Participate in business development, marketing, and recruitment activities.
  • Design and develop curriculum and learning materials.
  • Set up necessary systems.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience in careers guidance, facilitation, and coaching/mentoring.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of apprenticeship requirements in Higher Education.
  • Understanding of IfATE requirements.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Apprenticeship Accountability Framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and systems.
