About the Role:

Alcedo Care, a leading home care provider, seeks a dedicated Deputy Care Manager to join our Wirral Branch team. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and make a real difference in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth daily operations and consistent, high-quality service delivery alongside the Registered Manager.
  • Lead by example, promoting Alcedo Care’s values and upholding its reputation for excellence.
  • Support the Manager with regular service reviews and completing actions to maintain high care standards.
  • Foster positive staff relations, effective team collaboration, and high staff retention.
  • Promote positive client and commissioner relations and maintain high client satisfaction through excellent service and skilled staffing.
  • Support the Manager to grow the service and mobilise new care packages.
  • Provide out-of-hours support to staff and clients on a rota basis (On-Call).
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager as needed.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Professional qualification in Health and Social Care (Level 3 or above) – essential
  • Proven leadership experience in a care or healthcare setting
  • Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle – essential
  • Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
