About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Early Years Deputy Manager to oversee the daily operations of their nursery in London, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged birth to pre-school. The successful candidate will work closely with the Nursery Manager to maintain high standards of care and education, fostering a positive and engaging experience for children, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that promotes children’s learning.
- Manage the day-to-day running of the nursery, delivering outstanding standards of care and education.
- Meet nursery objectives and targets, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Support the Nursery Manager in managing the nursery team, resolving conflicts, and fostering professional development.
- Deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence.
- Maintain minimum operating standards.
- Inspire, motivate, and challenge colleagues to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
Skills and Expertise:
- Extensive experience in Early Years childcare.
- Qualified Early Years professional, such as a Level 3 or above.
- Proven ability to manage a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Early Years best practice.
- Understanding of commercial considerations.
- Experience with conflict resolution.
- Proficient in relevant childcare software and systems.
