About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Teacher to join our mixed-age class for children in their final Pre-School year. This year-round position offers a dynamic environment to nurture and support young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the EYFS and CHILD-based Nursery curriculum.
  • Facilitate indoor and outdoor play experiences to stimulate learning and development.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
  • Follow and contribute to established policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of child development.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience as a Reception Class Teacher or Kindergarten/Pre-School leader.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Caring and calm demeanor.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Experience using online learning journals (desirable).
  • Current paediatric first aid certificate (desirable).
  • Recent safeguarding training (desirable).
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
