About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated NVQ Level 3 qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. This role plays a crucial part in supporting operations teams through breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, and engineering solutions for process improvement, ensuring optimal process availability and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform necessary breakdown repairs on process and auxiliary equipment.
- Lead preventative maintenance activities.
- Develop engineering solutions for process improvement.
- Maintain all process and auxiliary equipment to improve uptime and reduce costs.
- Report and record maintenance and repair details using appropriate systems.
Skills and Expertise:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade.
- Relevant engineering experience, including continuous improvement processes, preventative maintenance techniques, and contractor management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Sound electrical background and proven track record.
- Experience with electrical maintenance and fault finding in heavy engineering/industrial environments.
- Adaptability and a desire to learn and develop.
- Familiarity with current health & safety regulations.
