About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified English teacher for KS3 and KS4 in Oxfordshire. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing student behaviour effectively, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies.
  • Plan and execute lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of student work and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared teaching goals.
  • Act as a supportive tutor to students.
  • Potentially teach KS5 English.
  • Commitment to further training and development.
  • Willingness and ability to effectively teach PSHE.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven ability to teach KS3 and KS4 English.
  • Strong knowledge of planning, assessment, and record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Effective behaviour management skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
