About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and passionate teachers to join our dedicated team supporting students awaiting alternative provision. This role provides tailored teaching and support for students with special educational needs (SEN) and/or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored teaching and support to students who are temporarily out of mainstream education.
- Work with students with a range of needs, including SEMH and SEN, to support their educational progress.
- Devise a tailored plan with the student to help support their needs, focusing on core subjects.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience teaching children, ideally in special educational settings or with students who have SEMH/SEN needs.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to support the individual needs of students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with students, parents, and other professionals.
- Minimum commitment of 5 hours of teaching across 3 days.
