About the Role:
Holt Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Extrusion Operator to join their team in Romsey. This role plays a crucial part in the manufacturing process, ensuring the smooth operation of extrusion lines and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating extrusion lines.
- Changing and setting heads, dies, and pins.
- Cleaning barrels and screws.
- Monitoring and maintaining product quality.
- Operating forklifts and other machinery.
- Adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Supporting other team members as needed.
Skills and Expertise:
- Previous experience in extrusion or a similar manufacturing role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime and shifts.
- Forklift license (training provided).
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Competitive salary (14-15 per hour).
