About the Role:
Help shape public policy by gathering crucial data through official surveys as a Field Interviewer. This role involves visiting participants at home to complete surveys, supporting the UKs largest official statistics producer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews at sampled addresses, encouraging survey completion.
- Interview respondents in their homes.
- Plan, organize, and manage fieldwork.
- Adhere to survey protocols and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of interviews and survey data.
- Work within a 40-mile radius of an allocated location.
Skills and Expertise:
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in approaching and conversing with diverse individuals.
- Experience using a laptop and smartphone.
- Self-disciplined and motivated.
- Ability to transport equipment (laptop, survey materials).
- Navigating to addresses.
- Working independently and in a flexible schedule.
- Experience in public-facing roles (an asset).
