About the Role:
Are you a qualified or part-qualified accountant looking for a transition from practice to industry? This exciting opportunity involves a dynamic team and mentorship in a vibrant rural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate management information to support decision-making in land and property development.
- Collaborate with the Finance Director, General Manager, and operational heads on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Develop annual operating budgets and five-year plans aligned with the estate’s long-term objectives.
- Ensure compliance with financial procedures and regulations, including procurement.
- Provide financial support and analysis for development projects, including detailed phased cash flows.
- Act as a critical friend to challenge and ensure financial objectives are met.
Skills and Expertise:
- Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in business partnering, budget preparation, and financial analysis
- Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in standard accounts packages and Excel
