About the Role:
IPS Group is partnering with a London market insurance business to hire a skilled Finance Manager to support the acquisition and integration of new entities. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless financial operations during the M&A process and aligning financial reporting with acquisition timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate the integration of acquisitions, bridging gaps and managing vendor relationships.
- Map valuation models for each deal, supporting the deal basis and ensuring sale and purchase agreement deadlines are met.
- Support the onboarded acquisition with six-monthly board reporting on post-acquisition performance compared to initial valuation.
- Review completion accounts to ensure timely payments and assess impacts on Group cash flow, reporting to the Finance Operations Director.
- Produce NRC statements for each earnout period, ensuring calculations adhere to detailed SPA conditions.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong background in Finance, particularly acquisitions and integration processes.
- Proven experience with M&A teams, handling SPAs, completion accounts, and earnout calculations.
- Understanding of Group Financial Reporting.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, both internal (across various departments) and external (with vendors).
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, or CIMA).
