About the Role:
Join a cutting-edge data team as a Financial Crime Data Analyst to analyze bank, franchise, or function data and identify key business issues and opportunities. This 12-month contract role will provide valuable experience in a dynamic area of the business, with a mixture of home and office work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing, and analysis.
- Develop and execute standard queries to ensure data quality and identify inconsistencies.
- Collect, profile, and map data for new and existing solutions.
- Document data migration paths and processes.
- Standardize data naming, definitions, and modeling.
- Interpret customer needs to create functional and data requirements.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proficient in Tableau, SQL, and other data analysis tools.
- Experience in delivering data analysis and reporting in a technology or IT function.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of Snowflake and AWS technologies.
- Knowledge of DataGrip and other data tooling.
- In-depth understanding of data interrelationships.
- Research experience using qualitative and quantitative data across various subjects.
- Working knowledge of the Agile framework.
