About the Role:
Aramark UK is seeking a General Assistant to join their team at Corpus Christi Catholic High School in Cardiff. This role involves basic food preparation, front-of-house duties, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.
- Perform general kitchen duties, including food preparation (sandwiches, cold food).
- Execute general front-of-house duties (clearing tables, table service, customer service).
- Operate tills and process payments.
- Restock items and maintain stock rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness of front and back of house areas (sweeping, mopping, general housekeeping).
- Demonstrate flexibility and multi-skilling abilities.
Skills and Expertise:
- Previous experience in food preparation or customer service is desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Residency in the UK for the past 5 years and valid right to work.
- Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Part-time position (30 hours per week, term-time only).
- Shifts between 7.30am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
- Annual salary of 10,406.06 (term-time only).
