About the Role:
We are seeking a General Manager to lead a high-volume food and retail location near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. This crucial role oversees a team of 25 employees and is key to driving revenue across all business offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and support a team of 25 staff members to maintain exceptional service standards.
- Cultivate positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and empower team members through effective training and recognition.
- Create a culture of excellence, focusing on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Manage and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) encompassing health and safety, sustainability, finance, and governance.
Skills and Expertise:
- Experience in high-volume catering, ideally in a distribution setting.
- Passion for food and exceptional customer service.
- Proven ability to manage, train, and support a large team.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and performance analysis.
- Excellent delegation, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong strategic thinking and critical reasoning.
