About the Role:
Provide high-quality primary care services to the Cumbria population, adhering to approved protocols and evidence-based medicine, both in-hours and out-of-hours. This role involves a range of patient interactions and medical tasks, including clinical advice, consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical advice and consultations.
- Conduct patient histories and examinations.
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions.
- Manage patient investigations and referrals.
- Promote health and preventative care.
- Prescribe and administer medicines according to procedures.
- Participate in and support electronic data collection and record management.
- Produce accurate clinical records for GPs by the next working day.
Skills and Expertise:
- Extensive knowledge of primary care.
- Strong clinical skills and patient communication.
- Proficiency in medical diagnostics and treatment.
- Familiarity with appropriate medical procedures and regulations.
- Experience in record keeping.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
