About the Role:
OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our Technical Services division in Edinburgh. This role involves completing reactive works and preventative maintenance tasks to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Reactive Works orders and PPMs within defined SLA’s and KPIs.
- Contribute to the efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability of contracts.
- Support site supervisors in delivering services safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Skills and Expertise:
- Time-served engineer with general maintenance background.
- Experienced in Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, Door Hanging, Carpet/Lino repairs, Tiling, ceiling grids/tiles and minor plumbing.
- L8 ACOP, Legionella Awareness, and First Aid certified.
- Knowledge of safety documentation.
- Experience in grounds maintenance (every 2-3 weeks).
- Availability for cleaning and client-requested tasks.
