About the Role:
BaxterStorey seeks a passionate and skilled Head Chef to lead a team in our London – Liverpool Street retail operation. This role requires a leader who can create exceptional dining experiences and manage a high-performing kitchen team, meeting demanding standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, collaborate, and support direct reports to deliver consistently exceptional standards.
- Build positive, credible, and collaborative relationships with clients and other key stakeholders.
- Develop team members through mentoring, training, recognition, and empowerment.
- Create a culture of excellence, striving for innovation and obsessive food standards.
- Achieve business critical KPIs, including Health and Safety, Sustainability, Financial, and Governance targets.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role.
- Obsession with food and creating exceptional experiences.
- Experience managing, training, and supporting a kitchen team.
- Financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure.
- Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
