About the Role:
Lead a team of housekeepers to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring resident comfort and satisfaction in a care home setting. Develop team members, understand resident needs, and manage the laundry process efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of housekeepers, providing training and support.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the care home.
- Ensure all resident needs, including laundry requirements, are met.
- Supervise the management of laundry operations.
- Participate in resident and relative meetings to ensure satisfaction and address needs.
- Manage staff rotas and budgets.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience as a Head Housekeeper or senior housekeeper role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in staff supervision and training.
- Knowledge of cleaning and hygiene practices, including laundry procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of resident care needs.
