About the Role:
Join our renal care team as a Healthcare Assistant in Blackburn and make a meaningful impact on the lives of dialysis patients. You will provide exceptional patient care following Diaverum procedures, contributing to improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean equipment following proper training.
- Prepare supplies and packs for treatment.
- Conduct health checks with patients before and after dialysis.
- Escort patients to clinical and waiting areas.
- Serve refreshments during treatments.
Skills and Expertise:
- GCSE level or equivalent education.
- Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health or Social Care (or equivalent, preferably working towards level 3).
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting (ideal).
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), fluent in English.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- Full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
- Monday to Saturday, 6:30am to 11:30pm (no nights or Sundays).
- Competitive salary up to 23,532 (depending on experience).
