About the Role:
Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks a highly motivated Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to join our Outpatient team in Dorset. This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse patient population in a dynamic outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care, ensuring patient privacy, dignity, and psychological well-being.
- Maintain patient-centered care in all outpatient areas.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Rotate through outpatient departments at the main hospital site, South Walks House, and Weymouth Hospital.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working patterns, potentially including weekend and evening shifts.
Skills and Expertise:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
- Adaptability and a positive attitude towards flexibility and change.
- Experience in outpatient settings is an advantage, but not essential.
