About the Role:

This permanent Healthcare Support Worker role within a busy acute medical assessment unit in Greater Manchester requires a highly motivated and compassionate individual to provide direct patient care. You will be an integral part of the ward team, working closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients under the direction of registered nurses.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities.
  • Follow care plans developed by registered nurses.
  • Report changes in patient condition, incidents, or accidents to senior nurses immediately.
  • Maintain ward cleanliness and assist with stock management.
  • Assist with patient transportation and equipment handling.
