About the Role:
Logistics People are seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV driver to work on an ad-hoc basis at our Sheffield depot. The role involves completing deliveries and collections, adhering to driver hours legislation and all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete deliveries and collections adhering to HGV regulations.
- Ensure vehicle safety through proper pre-trip checks and defect reporting.
- Adhere to Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
- Comply with all on-site health and safety requirements.
Skills and Expertise:
- Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence (minimum 1 year experience).
- No more than 6 points.
- Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
- Understanding of driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
