About the Role:
Logistics People are seeking a Class 1 HGV driver for a full-time position at their Culina Tilbury depot. This role involves completing deliveries and collections, potentially including night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete deliveries and collections.
- Operate Class 1 HGV.
- Adhere to driver hours and WTD legislation.
- Conduct necessary vehicle checks.
- Report vehicle defects.
- Comply with health and safety requirements.
Skills and Expertise:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license (minimum 1 year).
- No more than 6 points or DD/DR convictions.
- Current valid CPC and tachograph cards.
- Understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
Job Facilities/Benefits:
- 5 on/3 off: 16.04/hr
- 4 on/4 off: 16.08/hr
- Start times between 12:00 – 19:59: 10 shift premium
- Start times between 20:00 – 03:59: 15 shift premium
- Overtime rates vary by day (Monday-Friday: 17.78/hr, Saturday: 21.14/hr, Sunday: 24.33/hr)
